The name was coined from bahay kubo and the form of the product, cuboidal
The emerging trends of architecture focus on the importance of green infrastructure and energy efficiency. The bahay kubo is indicative of when filipinos were more inclined towards nature.
The form is cuboidal- allowing for sturdier structuring with curvilinear corners that allow for airflow.
